This king sized media built in is really an entire wall installation going floor to ceiling.  With banks of dovetailed drawers that are partitioned to hold a growing CD collection, this cabinet is designed to endure.  It has lots of room for books and DVD’s and a center area for the TV.  The doors swing out flat against the bookcase so they are not sticking out into the room when open.  It has dimmable LED strip lighting at the top section on a remote.  The cabinets are clear finished rift sawn white oak with a beaded detail.  The drawers are dovetailed solid maple with Blum concealed soft close slides.  Design by Canno Design

This bookcase is about 9 feet high and 10 feet wide and has a clear finish over cherry hardwood.  Matching crown and base moldings were also milled in cherry.  There’s plenty of room for the collection of books that will soon fill the shelves.

This kitchen island had a small alcove that was perfect for a large drawer for food and a built in shelf with cutouts for the dog’s bowls.  Design by Intimate Living Interiors.

Cherry Built in Bookcase and Desk    This Built-in extends floor to ceiling and wall to wall in a center city high rise.  The bottom drawers are for hanging files.  This installation was designed with green materials and finish.  This design can be retrofitted to fit in your home.  Dimensions: 24 in. deep by 94 in. wide by 107 1/2 in high. Desk and Built-In Bookcases and Glass Doors: This built-in graces a child’s bedroom giving big storage for books, games and a ample computer workstation. Large tempered glass paneled doors close the upper cabinets from dust and a open center shelf has Hera warm spectrum LED spot lights. All the hinges are Blum concealed with soft close mechanisms. The cabinets are made to be painted by the homeowner or their painter and made from formaldehyde free hardwood plywood with solid poplar door frames, drawer fronts and face frames. Interiors of the base cabinets and drawers were clear finished. The solid maple countertop is playfully stained a cherry blossom pink with a environmentally friendly urethane finish.

Maple Display Cabinets:   Cabinets flanking a fireplace with a mantle is a great addition to any home in need of storage and display.  Never mind the two walls were different sizes, because custom cabinets can be made different sizes.  In the end they look exactly the same size even though one is two inches larger in width.  These cabinets were made to display the homeowner’s art glass collection.  The upper cabinets have Hera warm spectrum LED spotlights, thick tempered beveled glass shelves and sliding tempered glass doors.  The cabinets were made from formaldehyde free maple plywood and solid maple with a clear environmentally friendly finish.  Lower cabinets have an adjustable shelf inside and Blum concealed hinges with soft close mechanism.  The mantle and fireplace trim were made to match from solid maple hardwood.

Dining Room Built-Ins: Designed to fit into the carriage house’s ongoing trim molding installation the crown of these cabinets wrap seamlessly into the window top casing. This allowed a look that when painted will appear to be an original country built-in hutch. The cabinets were all made from hardwood veneer plywood and solid primed trim boards with a bead board back to the upper display cabinets. A solid maple countertop was stained and finished before installation. You can get a glimpse of the coffered bead board ceiling in this room. When this room gets painted it will look remarkable.

Church Pastor’s Office Cabinets: This entire office suite is custom designed to fit between the walls of a narrow office room in a city church. Cabinet face frames and doors are a full one inch thick solid red oak. There are various bookcases, file drawers, work surfaces, cork board and even a mirrored door closet. Thick custom moldings crown each piece and wrap around the room’s perimeter with baseboard. Even the dovetailed drawers and base cabinet interiors are stained and finished to match. Made from solid red oak, red oak veneered plywood, tempered glass, solid brass Merit hinges, Blum concealed drawer slides with soft close mechanism, House of Troy picture lights and finished with a custom mahogany stain, glaze and satin lacquer. Church Pastor’s Office Desk: 30 inches high, 40 inches wide and 64 inches long. This desk made to compliment the office suite millwork has secret panels to hide wiring for a computer. Made from solid local red oak, faux leather writing surface and is finished with a custom mahogany stain, glaze and satin lacquer. Design by T. Darmawan.

Church Lobby Cabinet with Granite Countertop Dimensions: 18” deep, 108” wide by 46” high. This cabinet is made from solid red oak and red oak veneer. The back has open shelves and a wood counter top. The top is a1 ¼” thick black granite with a dupont edge. Custom moldings make a panel design on the outside faces. Finished with a custom stain, glaze and satin lacquer. Design by T. Darmawan.

Church Welcome Area Cabinet Dimensions: 18” deep, 105 1/2” wide by 46” high. Nestled between two walls with a solid red oak countertop this cabinet is designed for greeting guests. a swinging panel door and counter top allow access to the back. The business side has open shelves and a wood writing counter not visible from the front. Custom moldings make a panel design on the front faces. Stained to match existing trim work with a satin lacquer finish. Design by T. Darmawan.

The homeowner needed room for a new flat panel television in this existing built-in. We removed a divider and some shelves and fitted new hardwood veneer plywood panels behind the face frame. Matched the molded profile on the trim and it's ready for paint and a new TV.

Room Dividing Bookcase Dimensions: 10” deep, 70” wide by 75” high. This custom bookcase cabinet was designed by the homeowner to have a border between dining room and living room. we had to offset the cabinets to keep the heating vent open. The top was left open to allow light through and a shelf on top for plants. Homeowner is painting this cabinet.

Built-in Cabinet Closet with Cherry Finish Interior Dimensions: 24” deep, 96” wide by 99.5” high. This cabinet was designed to look original to an old row homes interior. The wall behind has a small closet under a staircase that with a sliding door rear panel in the cabinet became a hidden storage area. The interior was stained cherry and clear coated.

Mudroom Cabinets. We replaced a painted bench top with a new stained red oak bench complete with a lifting lid. The lid has soft close dampers installed to prevent slamming. The new top was carefully fitted to look original.

Birch Closet and Bookcase Dimensions: 24” deep, 86” wide by 113” high. this floor to ceiling installation has a deep closet to the left with drawers at the bottom and a shallower bookcase built in front of a chimney in a second floor bedroom. Designed with the homeowner to maximize storage space. Constructed from formaldehyde free hardwood veneered plywood and birch hardwood with an environmentally friendly clear coat.

Built-in Closet with Walnut Floor   Dimensions: 8 feet high in a 5 ½ by 5 ½ foot room.  Materials: Birch Veneered Formaldehyde Free Plywood, Solid Birch, 3/8” x 5” Walnut Engineered Flooring, White Pine Moldings, Blum Concealed Soft Close Drawer Slides, Heavy Duty Chrome Plated Steel Closet Rods and a Low VOC Urethane Finish.  This closet retrofit really gave its owner some sleek storage with a smooth and clean modern look.  A chest of dovetailed drawers with smooth action slides provides plenty of space for folded clothing.

Walnut Wall with Bookcase and Sliding Door   Dimensions: 7 feet high, 12 feet long and 11 inches wide.  Materials: Solid Black Walnut, Hettich Pocket Door Hardware, Framing Lumber, Shellac.  This wall was designed and fabricated to be completely covered by rustic walnut with a bookcase and sliding door.  It is on the 3rd floor of a walk up trinity home in Philadelphia.  Everything needed to be assembled in the room as the stair case was curved and narrow.  The project really turned out nice.  The door slides with a touch of a finger.  It was finished with 2 coats of shellac.

Macassar Ebony Display Case This exquisite cabinet features real wood veneer over every inch, glass shelves and LED lighting. Doors and Drawers open with a gentile push. This custom built-in was designed with green materials and finish. Dimensions: 20 in. deep by 72 in. wide by 102 in. high. Materials: Quarter-sawn ‘Calico’ Macassar Ebony Veneer, Maple Hardwood, Formaldehyde Free Birch Veneer Plywood, Formaldehyde Free Medium Density Fiberboard, Tempered Glass, Blum Hinges and Concealed Drawer Slides with Soft Close Feature, Low Voltage LED Lighting, High Gloss Low VOC Acrylic Urethane Finish.

Built-in Dining Room Cabinet Dimensions: 15” deep, 60” wide by 82 3/4” high. This cabinet was designed to fit into an existing recess in the wall that used to be a closet. Made from solid maple hardwood and maple veneered formaldehyde free plywood. Bottom cabinet doors are raised panel. The homeowner is painting the cabinet.

Walnut Bookcase and Media Cabinet Extending floor to ceiling and wall to doorway, this bookcase features great curves and rich brown color. Designed to accommodate a hot water baseboard heater underneath and utilizing green materials and finish. This design can be re designed to fit in your home. Dimensions: 42 1/2 in. deep by 84 1/4 in. wide by 87 1/2 in high. Materials: Solid Walnut and Walnut Veneered Formaldehyde Free Plywood. Shellac and Low VOC Acrylic Urethane Finish.

Cherry Computer Desk Dimensions: 22 in. deep by 65 in. wide by 32 in. high. Materials: Cherry, Cherry Veneer Plywood, Poplar, Birch Veneer Plywood, Blum Under Mount Drawer Slide, Plastic Grommet and Low VOC Gloss Urethane Finish.

Desk and Bookcase Built-in Dimensions: 20 in. deep by 72 in. wide by 90 in high. Materials: Birch, Birch Veneer Plywood, KV over travel drawer slides, Blum Concealed Hinges with Soft Close and Low VOC Urethane Finish. This built in combined a small writing countertop with drawers and adjustable boockase shelving units in a small condo bedroom.

White Oak Computer Desk Dimensions: 22 in. deep by 112 in. wide by 32 in. high. Materials: White Oak countertop, White Oak Veneer Plywood, Plastic Grommets and Oil, Shellac and low VOC gloss Urethane Finish.

Built-in Birch CD Case Dimensions: 7 1/4” deep, 28” wide by 95 1/4” high. A unique design to provide CD storage and DVD storage in a condo. The middle portion is slightly narrower to accommodate the rooms existing light switch.

Cherry Vent Cover   Dimensions: 2 1/4 in. deep by 25 in. wide by 60 in high.  Materials: Cherry and Cherry Veneered Formaldehyde Free Plywood with a Shellac and Formaldehyde Free Low VOC Acrylic Urethane Finish.  The louvered vent covers a HVAC air intake.
